A man has been charged with 20 offences including breaking into and robbing a home in Barrie early on Saturday morning.

The 19-year-old man wasout on bail for other alleged for other drug and gun charges.

He has now been charged with breaking and entering, attempted murder and several firearm and assault related offences.

Police say he was one of three men who entered a home on Barrett Crescent in the Letitia Heights area armed with firearms and pepper spray at around 12:30 a.m.

Officers say a single shot was fired during the incident, but no one was hit.

Police say they are still searching for the other two suspects.

They say one of them is a white male who may have injuries to his face and jaw.

In the meantime, police have charged three residents of the home where the invasion happened with drug related offences.

Investigators say they seized a quantity of bagged marijuana, 50 pot plants valued at $100,000, and a large bag of mushrooms after a search warrant was executed.

Police say they believe the home was specifically targeted by the suspects and there is no danger to the public.
