Police are looking for help from the public after fire destroyed the Port of Orillia building on Centennial Drive just after 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
When emergency crews arrived on scene, the building was fully engulfed by flames and it took fire crews until 6:30 a.m. to put out the fire.
The building housed a washroom and shower facility for boats, a storage area, and an office for the Chamber of Commerce.
Damage is estimated between $400,000 and $500,000.
The OPP and Ontario Fire Marshal are investigating the fire. No one was injured.
