One man in his twenties has died after a collision on highway 11, near Holland Landing, Friday night.
According to York Regional Police, at about 9pm Friday a vehicle was travelling southbound on highway 11 in East Gwillimbury, near Holland Landing.
For unknown reasons a man and woman, both in their twenties, were on the highway.
The man was struck and killed. The woman was sent to a Toronto hospital with serious injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Police say they don’t anticipate any charges at this time.
