OPP say they will focus on seat belts and child seats during a driving campaign over the Easter long weekend.

The campaign will run from 12:01 a.m. on April 18th until midnight on April 21st, 2014.

Police remind drivers they are responsible for ensuring that passengers under the age of 16 years of age are using the seat belt or an appropriate child car seat.

Drivers could face a fine totalling $240 and two demerit points for seat belt related infractions.

OPP will also be watching for drivers who are distracted, driving aggressively or impaired.
