Provincial police have released an updated description of an attempted abduction suspect.
The OPP received a report on Thursday morning regarding the attempted abduction of an 11-year-old girl.
Police say the girl was walking to school, when a man grabbed her backpack and pulled her towards him. The girl was able to break free and flee the area.
According to investigators, this happened on Falkner Road, between Warman Street and Knight Street.
The suspect is described as being a white male in his mid-30s, between 5’10” and 6’, clean shaven with an athletic build, dark shoulder length hair and dark coloured eyes.
The man was last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark ripped jeans and was carrying a white backpack with black straps.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
