A motorcyclist who was ejected from his bike over the weekend has died.
The crash happened on Highway 118 in the area of Essonville Line in the Haliburton Highlands on Saturday, at around 4:30 p.m.
The OPP say the motorcyclist lost control, left the roadway and entered a ditch. Police say the driver was then ejected from the bike.
The 40-year-old man from Clarington was airlifted to a Toronto hospital with serious injuries.
The driver later succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing.
