One person is dead, following a head-on crash in Scugog Township.
The crash happened just after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, along Highway 12 between Line 2 and Line 3.
Provincial police say a southbound vehicle crossed the centre line and struck a northbound vehicle head-on. The 28-year-old driver of the southbound vehicle died in the crash.
The OPP is still trying to determine why the vehicle entered the northbound lane, but say weather was not a factor.
Highway 12 was closed for several hours, but has since re-opened.
