Provincial police are investigating after temporary water lines were cut in Port McNicoll.

OPP officers responded to calls on Tuesday and Thursday, where water lines were cut and the valves were stolen.

The temporary water lines were set up along Fourth Avenue between Talbot Street and Hayes Avenue. Damage is estimated at over $5,000.

Police are pleading to the public for any information that could lead to an arrest. Residents are asked to contact OPP or Crime Stoppers.
