Police and fire crews in Orillia have located a swimmer who was reported missing early Tuesday evening.
The call came in around 7 p.m., bringing emergency crews to Kitchener Park along Lake Simcoe.
The OPP tell CTV News that it took less than an hour to find the woman, who was “safe and sound” on shore.
Search and Rescue crews, accompanied by an OPP helicopter, had been scouring the ground in the area as daylight faded.
