One person has been sent to hospital after two crashes along Highway 400 near Bayfield Street.
According to police, a northbound vehicle crashed into a guardrail on Tuesday just before 1 p.m., sending debris into the southbound lanes. The occupant of the vehicle was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
Shortly after, a crash involving two vehicles happened in the southbound lanes of the highway at Bayfield Street. Those vehicles have since moved to the right shoulder.
It’s unknown if anyone was injured or if the crash in the northbound lanes was a factor.
OPP say all northbound lanes have since reopened.
