One person is dead after a multi-vehicle crash near Orangeville Tuesday.
According to the OPP, the crash happened at around 4:00 p.m. on Highway 9, near Heart Lake Road.
Provincial police say a Chevy Impala was travelling westbound when it crossed the centre line and collided head-on with a delivery truck, which caused another vehicle to crash.
Police say the driver of the Impala was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a news release issued on Wednesday, police identified the deceased as a 30 year-old man.
The two other drivers were also taken to hospital.
Highway 9 was closed between Heartlake Road and 3rd Line for several hours while the OPP’s technical collision investigators probed the scene.
