Police in Belize say they still haven’t made any arrests in the killing of a Keswick woman and her boyfriend.

Canadian John Deshaies remains in police custody for questioning, but Corozal police say he isn’t facing any charges. Investigators are still taking statements from people who lived near the villa of Francesca Matus.

The 52-year-old and her American boyfriend, Drew DeVoursney, were found bound and strangled in a sugar cane field on May 1.Their bodies were in an "advanced state of decomposition," according to police.

A memorial service has been set for the mother of two at Marshall Funeral Home on Yonge Street in Richmond Hill for Thursday.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., with the service starting at 11 a.m.
