The stars are out tonight at the Barrie Molson Centre, but earlier today they took some time for some golf.

Local boy Matt Beleskey invited his NHL pals Steven Stamkos, Steve Downie and BJ Crombeen for a friendly round in Barrie.

"I don’t know who the worst guy is because it would probably hurt their feelings but let's just say I'm not the best,” says Beleskey.

Barrie MP Patrick Brown says “these players are committed to the community and helping out.”

“They hear about causes and want to help,” he says. “They love our city."

A few Barrie Colts grads are also in the lineup, including Anthony Camara. Camara says he can’t wait to play with his old coach Dale Hawerchuk.

"I remember Dale being a little slower this year, but that was in four-on-four practice,” he says. “I’m sure he'll bring his best tonight but it's all fun and games.”

Mark Scheifele, meanwhile, says he saw Camara in Toronto and says they’re “going to put on a show.”

This is easily the most stacked lineup Hockey Night has had in years.
