NHL star McDavid to hit the ice for Hockey Night in Simcoe County

NHL superstar Connor McDavid is coming back to headline Hockey Night in Simcoe County.

The Edmonton Oiler captain will join fellow NHL stars from the past and present for the 10th year of the charity event.

Kevin Leblanc, Joseph Blandisi, Dale Hawerchuk, Mike Gartner, Daniel Tkaczuk, Wes Jarvis, Ric Jackman, and Scott Thornton will also hit the ice.

The event supports Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Georgian Bay General Hospital, Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and the Barrie Colts Foundation.

Hockey Night in Simcoe County takes place Aug. 10 at the Barrie Molson Centre.
