An Uxbridge man has been charged after allegedly using a woman’s swimming pool, shower and eating trays of food, while he was naked.
The woman returned home on Monday at around 12:15 p.m. to find a naked man inside her house. The 18-year-old then ran out of the house, through the backyard and into a wooded area.
Durham Regional Police was contacted a short time later and a K-9 unit was able to locate the naked man hiding in the tall grass at a nearby pond.
A neighbour told officers that the man was spotted swimming naked in the woman’s pool. According to police, the man also used the woman’s shower, ate trays of foods and ransacked her bedrooms.
Investigators say the accused was under the influence of alcohol and drugs during the incident.
The Uxbridge man is charged with break and enter. He was later released with conditions.
