Barrie police are looking for witnesses to a crash that sent a motorcyclist to hospital with critical injuries.

Investigators say the motorcycle was travelling along Hanmer Street on Sunday, just before 3 p.m. According to police, the motorcycle left the road and struck a fence.

The 21-year-old male rider was transported to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. He was later airlifted to Sunnybrooke Health Sciences Centre in Toronto with critical injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
