Huronia West OPP say a woman was pulled over Thursday night just outside of Stayner.

She was driving eastbound on Highway 26 near County Road 7 when the vehicle flashed it's headlights and had a red light on it's roof.

A man approached and asked for her documents, but didn’t identify himself as a police officer.

After he looked at her documents and asked her a few questions, he let her leave.

She described him as approximately 30-years-old, and wearing khaki pants.

No other information about his appearance was given.

Police would like to remind the public that during the vast majority of traffic stops, both the officer and their cruiser should be recognizable as OPP.
