A woman has died after a crash in The Blue Mountains early Friday morning.
OPP say an officer came across a vehicle while out on patrol on the 12th Side Road near Grey Road 19 around 2:00 a.m.
The woman was taken to hospital but died as a result of the injuries sustained in the crash.
Police are not releasing the woman's age or identity until her family has been notified.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the crash and when the crash happened.
The 12th Side Road was closed for over eight while police investigated.
