Police are appealing to the public for help in a weekend motorcycle crash that seriously injured an Uxbridge man.

According to York Regional Police, two motorcycles were involved in a collision at the intersection of Metro Road North and Lake Drive in Georgina on Saturday, at around 2 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene two riders were found on the pavement.

One of the riders, a 49-year-old Uxbridge man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The other rider, a 50-year-old Georgina man, was not injured.

Investigators hope to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision. Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
