A 63-year-old Severn Township man is facing several drug related charges after a vehicle was stopped in Oro-Medonte on Tuesday.

OPP say they stopped a vehicle travelling east on Highway 12 around 4:30 p.m. in relation to the sale of contraband cigarettes.

During the traffic stop police found other items in the car, including clocaine, OxyContin and marijuana.

The man was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking. 

Police also laid charges in relation to the possession and selling of contraband cigarettes.

He will appear in an Orillia court on August 5th, 2014.
