A Wasaga Beach woman is facing charges after she was allegedly spotted going 70 km/h over the speed limit.
An officer with Huronia West OPP was conducting speed enforcement on Highway 26 in Minesing, when police say a vehicle was clocked at 150 km/h. The posted speed limit in the area is 80 km/h,
The vehicle was stopped and the driver, a 24-year-old woman, was charged with racing a motor vehicle. Her licence was suspended for seven days and her vehicle impounded.
The accused will appear in court on Sept. 20.
