A pet owner has been charged after a dog attack in the north-end Saturday afternoon.
Police say it happened just after 12 p.m. when a German Shepherd attacked a Yorkie, dragging him down the street.
The Yorkie suffered serious injuries and was taken into surgery.
The owner of the German Shepherd has been charged under a city by-law.
