There are several parts of Highway 400 that will be reduced or closed for construction over the weekend.
All lanes of Highway 400 between Mapleview Drive and Innisfil Beach Road will be closed from 11pm Saturday night until 8am on Sunday.
The highway is being closed for the demolition of McKay bridge. Detour signs are in place, and while that section of the highway is expected to reopen Sunday morning, lanes will be reduced.
There is also road work on Duckworth street in Barrie this weekend. Crews are demolishing the old Duckworth street overpass.
One southbound on-ramp to the 400 will be closed and some lanes may be reduced while the work is being done.
The closure will be in place until 5am on Monday.
