The coroner’s office is investigating after possible human remains were found in Vaughan.
The remains were discovered in a wooded area near Philip’s Lane and Weston Road late Friday afternoon.
The coroner’s office was at the scene on Saturday with an anthropologist to conduct an investigation. York Regional Police believe the remains are human.
The cause of death has not been determined, and no other details have been released.
