Barrie Police is searching for a man wanted in connection with a robbery at a Shoppers Drug Mart in Barrie Wednesday morning.
Police say the man entered the store at 165 Wellington St. West around 6:37 a.m. when he allegedly went behind the pharmacy counter and approached the pharmacist demanding for any on-site drugs.
Officers say the man went with the pharmacist to the back room where medications are kept, and placed various kinds of prescription drugs into his back pack.
The man then fled the store on a black mountain style bike.
Police add he was last seen heading north behind the plaza and turned left towards Donald Street.
The man is described as:
- White
- 5’9” – 5’11” tall
- 30-35 years old
- Slim build
- Possibly light brown hair, slight darker beard
- Wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with large “Sons of Anarchy logo on back with smaller logo on left breast
- Blue jeans, sunglasses and red back pack
