Police are hoping to speak with anyone who witnessed a fiery and deadly crash near Alliston.
The OPP say a car and a commercial vehicle crashed on County Road 50, south of Highway 89 on Saturday.
According to police, the car was heading south and the truck north when they collided head-on. Both vehicles caught fire.
A man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries.
County Road 50 was closed for several hours, but has since reopened.
The investigation is ongoing and so far no charges have been laid.
