Provincial police are investigating a serious crash in Springwater Township.
The OPP, the Springwater Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedics responded to the two vehicle crash at the intersection of Crossland Road and Flos Road 6 West just before 10 Friday morning.
The fire department said extrication was required on both vehicles.
According to the OPP, five people were taken to hospital including one woman who was transported to a Toronto hospital. Police say the women is in the ICU unit in stable condition.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
