Provincial police have identified the two victims in a fatal crash near Midland.
OPP say Anthony Bakuniec, 87, and Ruth Bakuniec, 86, both of Tiny Township died on Saturday after their Mazda car collided head-on with a pickup truck on Concession Road 12 on Saturday afternoon.
The driver of the pickup was taken to a Midland hospital, but was later airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with serious injuries.
It’s still unclear what caused the head-on crash.
Concession Road 12 was closed for several hours near County Road 6, but has since been re-opened.
