Orillia OPP has charged a man and woman in connection to a robbery at a pharmacy.

It happened on Sunday May 22 around 12:30 p.m. at pharmacy on Laclie Street.

According to police, the male suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs. Investigators believe he left the scene in vehicle that had damage to the front bumper and passenger side.

After further investigation police determined a female suspect was also involved in the robbery. The pair was arrested Wednesday on Colborne Street after a traffic stop.

A 31-year-old man from Ramara Township has been charged with Robbery with a Weapon. He was schedule to appear at a bail hearing in Barrie on Thursday.

Police have also charged a 47-year-old Gravenhurst woman with Robbery with a Weapon. She was released on a promise to appear in court on July 5.
