Police are looking for a man who held up a Barrie convenience store at knifepoint.

The man walked into the Mac’s Convenience store located at 151 Bayfield St. on Monday, at around 1:40 a.m. Barrie police say the man demanded cash and cigarettes.

The clerk complied and the man fled the store on foot. He was last seen headed east through the parking lot. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a white man, 6’, with a large build. He was seen wearing a black balaclava, a black jacket, and plaid pajama pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
