A 16-year-old Innisfil boy has been charged by police in connection with overnight thefts from vehicles in the Innisfil and Bradford areas.
South Simcoe Police say they have seen a rash of thefts in the communities in the past few months.
Police say a surveillance video from a private home provided pictures of the suspect in one theft and the photos were sharedby investigators via social media.
As a result of the investigation and tips from Twitter followers, South Simcoe Police say the teenagersouth s was identified and charged with trespassing.
His name cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He will appear in court in October.
