A hold and secure at a Minesing public school has been lifted.
Students from Minesing Central Public School were brought indoors after the Simcoe County District School Board was notified about a police investigation on Friday afternoon.
According to the OPP, there was a traffic stop in the area of school that led to the person taking off on foot. Officers were tracking the suspect with a K-9 unit.
The SCDSB says staff and students are safe.
The OPP investigation is ongoing, but police say a Collingwood man has been arrested.
