There will be no GO train service this weekend along the Barrie line.

Train service will be suspended between the Allandale GO station and Union Station on Saturday and Sunday. The closure is to allow crews to install a pedestrian tunnel at Maple Station in Vaughan.

GO will have extra buses running. The work is part of the first phase of construction to provide two-way, all-day service along the Barrie corridor.

A closure will also be in place on the weekend of May 6.
