A 29-year-old Georgina man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in connection with the death of a 58-year-old man in 2014.
William Kennedy pleaded guilty on Tuesday to the murder of his father, Brad Kennedy.
Police were called to a home on Isle Vista Drive in the evening of Feb. 19, 2014 after to check on the resident of the home after people called to say they hadn’t heard from him in a while.
When officers arrived they located the 58-year-old and arrested William Kennedy at the scene.
Kennedy was sentenced to life in jail with no possibility of parole for 11 years.
