Emergency crews were kept busy on Saturday night responding to two crashes on local roads.
The first crash happened around 6:00 p.m. on Highway 89 near Alliston and involved two vans.
Crews shut down a portion of the road for a short period of time. No word on any injuries.
And traffic was backed up on Highway 400 northbound after a crash a few hours later.
The accident happened in the left lane just outside of Barrie and involved two vehicles. No word on any injuries.
