A 32-year-old man from Barrie remains in critical condition after a motorcycle and an SUV crashed in the Essa Township on Wednesday afternoon.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. on the 5th sideroad between County Rd. 56 and the 6th line in Essa Township.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
There were four people in the SUV, two were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
"They found a motorcycle was westbound on the 5th Sideroad, the motor vehicle was eastbound and the motor vehicle turned into a private driveway when the collision occurred," says OPP Constable Tracey Bednarczyk.
Police say the driver of the SUV, an 84-year-old man from Alliston, will not be facing charges.
