A Collingwood man is facing an arson charge in connection to a house fire in Collingwood.
OPP and the fire department responded to the house fire on Oak Street around 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Crews were able to get the fire under control, but not before it caused heavy damage to the basement. The fire caused about $100,000 in damage.
An investigation led police to arrest a resident of the home.

He was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie.
