A Brampton man was charged with stunt driving after police say he was clocked going 105 km/h over the speed limit on The Gore Road in Caledon.

The vehicle was stopped by police after an officer observed it going 165 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone Wednesday.

The 19-year-old driver was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle, his driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days and his vehicle has been impounded for seven days.

The accused will face the stunt driving charge in the Ontario Court of Justicein in Caledon in May.
