Barrie Police are looking for a suspect after a downtown bank was robbed Friday morning.

The robbery happened at the TD Bank on Collier Street around 9:30 a.m.

According to police, a man walked into the bank, passed a note to a teller indicating he had a gun and demanded cash.

A weapon was not seen, but police say the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 50s, approximately 5’10” with long grey hair and a scruffy appearance. He was wearing a black jacket, black toque, black shoes and black sunglasses
