Barrie police are probing a suspicious fire at an abandoned farm house on Mapleview Drive East.
According to police, the fire broke out on the back door of the farm house on Monday morning, around 8:20 a.m.
Firefighters were quick to extinguish the blaze and deemed it suspicious in nature. Damage to the farm house is estimated at $25,000.
The Barrie Police Criminal Investigations Unit and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office are currently investigating.
