Barrie police have released a photo of a man they believe stole an air pistol from Cabela’s.
Investigators were called to the Cabela’s located at 50 Concert Way in Barrie on June 13 after it was discovered that the air pistol was taken.
After reviewing surveillance video, it was determined that the suspect removed the packaging and security wrap from several items and put them in his backpack. Police say the video also shows the suspect putting the pistol into the front of his shorts.
The suspect is described as an Asian male in his mid-20s, 5’5”, with a medium build and short dark hair. The man also has white spacer earrings and has large tattoos covering his arm, shoulder and chest.
Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, black sunglasses, a black tank top, black shorts and black running shoes.
