A man has died after he was pinned to a tree by his pick-up truck in Port Carling on Saturday.
Emergency crews believe the man’s van had been left in drive or neutral when it began to roll away down an embankment.
The man tried to jump back into the truck to stop it but was caught and pinned against a tree. Neighbours attempted to free him but were unable.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Foul play is not suspected, but OPP and the coroner are investigating.
