Barrie police say a man in his 40s was found with cocaine after he allegedly drove drunk through a McDonalds drive-thru early Saturday morning.

They say McDonalds staff saw the unnamed man hit another vehicle and drive away.

Police say the man later failed a roadside alcohol test and was arrested.

Investigators say the man was taken to the police station, where he was found to be carrying cocaine and cash.

The man was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and impaired driving.
