A Toronto man has been charged after he allegedly blew three times the legal limit, following a crash in downtown Barrie.

According to Barrie police, the man backed a pickup truck into a parked vehicle in the downtown, at around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The driver, a 25-year-old man, was arrested at the scene and taken to police headquarters for a breath test. That’s where police say the man registered more than three times the legal blood alcohol level.

The man was charged with impaired driving and will appear in a Barrie court at a future date.
