Victims of impaired driving have a new memorial at a popular park along Barrie’s waterfront.

The bench was unveiled Wednesday night at Heritage Park by the local chapter of Mother’s Against Drunk Driving.

Barrie Mayor Jeff Lehman and Barrie Police Chief Kimberley Greenwood were there for the unveiling along with members of the local MADD capter.

This is one of a number of memorial benches MADD is dedicating in the area.
