Midland police are warning residents that a “large predatory cat” was spotted early last night around 10 p.m. near some houses in town.
Police say someone in the William Street area called to say the cat they saw was “tan in colour with a long thin tail, level with the hood of a vehicle”.
Police aren’t exactly sure what type of cat it is but say they want residents with young children to be aware that the large animal could be close.
