Premier Kathleen Wynne, NDP leader Andrea Horwath and Conservative interim leader Jim Wilson kicked off the plowing part of the match Tuesday.

Farmers from all areas are excited to showcase a part of their lives.
“It just showcases the farm,” says Denise Harrison of Dingo Farms in Bradford. “We bring the farm to the people, so children, adults alike can have a hands-on personal experience with rural Ontario.”
Animals, food, prize-winning quilts, ‘Canadian Cowgirls’, and dancing tractors are just some of the reasons the Plowing Match is expected to draw such big crowds to Ivy.
