A fire that forced a family out of a home in Innisfil’s Sandy Cove Acres area has been ruled accidental.
It was just after 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday when two residents returned to a home on the 25th Side Road to find it on fire.
One of the residents was able to rescue the family pets, while the other called for help. The cause appears to have been accidental. No one was injured.
Police believe the fire started in the fireplace and chimney.
