An 82-year-old Bolton man was arrested for murder after his wife was found stabbed in York Region last night.
He is now facing a charge of second degree murder.
Emergency crews were called to the 72-year-old woman’s home in a quiet subdivision just north of Highway 7, west of Highway 400, in Vaughan last night. She was rushed to hospital where she died from her injuries. The couple did not live together.
The man remains in police custody pending a bail hearing today.
