Two men face mischief charges after an accident on Highway 11 near Huntsville last Friday.

Huntsville OPP had to bring in its canine unit to find the two men after discovering a heavily-damaged car – with no one inside - in the median on Highway 11 near Muskoka Road 3.

Officers say they were concerned for the health of the people who may have been inside, and tracked them down. The two men were then charged

Both have a September 10 court date.

Meanwhile, Huntsville OPP also responded to another crash on Highway 11 last Thursday evening near Madill Church Rd.

A 17-year-old is facing careless driving charges after he drove into the median.

He wasn’t hurt.
